For the 3rd installment of our mixtape series, I asked lovable country punks Sunny Ali & The Kid to create the soundtrack to being chased out of the museum. What they sent back was a three-part mix: beginning with beats, moving on to their beloved country styles and closing with unadulterated rock from all over the world. Much more + track list here. Babes Mixtape Vol. 2 Curated by Lemonade
For years, the electro-dance outfit Lemonade has been gyrating our ears and hips in a hedonistic frenzy. So when they agreed to curate the second installment of our Babes At The Museum mixtape series, we heel clicked all the way home like some cracked out springboks.
The collection of 10 handpicked songs make up a chromatic mix of ambient, electronic and dance that can only be sourced by a wayfaring bunch constantly touring, plucking obscure ear gems along their way.
Check out the mixtape and let your crowded museum visits be filled with blissed out insouciance. Finally something to put a muffling end to all the loud-talking know-it-alls always feeling like they need to express their art criticism in public.

Babes At The Museum Mixtape Curated by Das Racist
No stranger to babes, our good friends from the hip hop group Das Racist were sweet enough tell us what songs come to mind when they think of culturally-attuned bombshells; like the kind you see floating around in museums. The selections include a lot woman-praising hip hop songs and a little bit of PJ Harvey. Check it out! Here’s the Babes At The Museum Mixtape curated by Das Racist (artwork by Adam G. Mignanelli of Ballast NYC)
