Finding the measure of a babe is as much about the intangible charms that light up an interaction as the clothes that keep them incandescent.

Janelle was leaving the museum just as we were entering it. She offered us a generous u-turn after asking if she’d join us on a whimsical stroll through the Maris Lassnig exhibition. Who would have known our brief encounter would be crowned with an impromptu tango.

Janelle is a writer and when the computer screen make her eyes feel like their melting, she punches bags until her hands hurt.

I was freezing my tail off in Olafur Eliasson’s immersive  and subzero installation “Your waste of time” at the MoMA PS1 when my vision  stumbled upon an equally shivery museum-goer by the name of Samantha.

After exchanging a few teeth-chattering words and snapping a quick photo, I learned that she had just returned to Brooklyn from a harrowing adventure with some teen exorcists. Don’t worry, she filmed the whole demon-evicting process for us to enjoy.  So… ENJOY!

I was pretty much hooked after that.

The more I asked Samantha about the documentaries she had up her sleeve, the more this voracious producer was transforming into a blonde swiss army knife of the film world.

Check out her website. It’s an eyeball parade of fun and brilliance.

This summer is going to melt your make-up and drench your pits.

You’ll wish you had bought that bottle of talcum powder at the 99 cent store for those extra humid crotch spots.

Here, the mesmerizingly adorable Nanna demonstrates how to relish the dog days with a simple white tank that shows off a winding collarbone and silky smooth guns.

Grab one here.

Lil miss Frenchie here, ‘demoiselle Alice makes a sartorial point to mesh in with the American vibes by smothering herself in anything but Parisian style. Maybe you can catch her interning at the Tucker design label, if you can catch her at all. (Photo by Xavier Aaronson)

I didn’t know it would be my dream to sandwich a babe between two works of art until it actually happened. Such an occasion presented itself when meeting fashion illustrator Meagan Morrison at the MET Museum as she was spotted in front of Ellsworth Kelly’s “Blue Panel” painting and behind Joel Shapiro’s untitled, beaming red sculpture.
