Hannah at UMFA
It’s okay to stare if it’s art. Hannah was spotted at the Utah Museum of Fine Art staring at some First Nations islander art. The heart-shaped glow you see here was completely accidental. (photo by Colin Roe Ledbetter)

Amanda & Laura at SFMOMA
The SFMOMA Staff Twins! Ok not really, but they do work at the SFMOMA (Amanda on the left and Laura on the right). Next time you find yourself at the museum’s information desk or box office, don’t forget to say hello and make them feel internet famous.

Babes At The Museum Mixtape Curated by Das Racist
No stranger to babes, our good friends from the hip hop group Das Racist were sweet enough tell us what songs come to mind when they think of culturally-attuned bombshells; like the kind you see floating around in museums. The selections include a lot woman-praising hip hop songs and a little bit of PJ Harvey. Check it out! Here’s the Babes At The Museum Mixtape curated by Das Racist (artwork by Adam G. Mignanelli of Ballast NYC)

Opening night at New Museum’s Triennial: “The Ungovernables” (Part 1)
Last Tuesday, we attended the opening of The New Museum’s Triennial: “The Ungovernables”. It was our first time at an opening as “Babes At The Museum” so of course we lost all control and snapped away like crazy. As expected, there was a sea of babes in snazzy garbs and spiffy style shuffling through floors. More photos HERE.

Complex & BATM Crush on Babes (Who Actually Work) At The Museum
Complex and BATM looked at each other like “Yeah? Okay, yeah!” and so we created a niche photo series celebrating the brainy babes who actually work at museums. Serious diamonds in the rough with exceptional characteristics. If you flip though this photo series you’ll notice an embarrassingly local focus on NYC museums and a big crush on MoMA PS1′s HR department. The Babes (Who Actually Work) At The Museum redux series will have a more global representation. We’ll try harder to travel more. More here.

Caite at MoMA PS1
With lemons for work uniforms the MoMA PS1 staff really flex some striking lemonade. Here is Caite on duty, hovering around the Clifford Owens exhibition. Shes studying art history at Columbia University and judging by her nimble posture – yup, you guessed it, shes also a part-time yoga teacher. Photo by Xavier Aaronson
